“But I will never stop helping and loving people the way Jesus said to”.

The foundation was named after the Saliba family’s beloved son whom they lost at a very young age (29 years old) after a short illness.

In fact, Camil was the jewel of the family and its hope. He was the first grandchild on his father's side and the joy of the family. He was born on the 1st of July 1993. Named after his uncle who lost his life defending his country, Camil was a loving person; honest, courageous and a believer in God. He was 11 years old when he was struck by a quote from pop star Michael Jackson:

“But I will never stop helping and loving people the way Jesus said to”.

Camil inscribed this quote on the back of a treasured picture of Jesus. For Camil, these were words to live by. Even at this young age, Camil showed remarkable empathy towards the underprivileged, especially the suffering of children, the elderly and disabled people. This sense of duty to others is a trait that stayed with him throughout his tragically short life.

Camil grew up in Nigeria, Lebanon, and in the USA. He graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science Degree from Brigham Young University – Idaho and worked in the Finance Industry in the United States for a couple of years. While very much a proud citizen of the USA, Camil also had a love of his country of origin, Lebanon.

His deep affection for his native country, drew him back to Lebanon in 2020 where he contracted Covid19 and subsequently suffered from a cerebral stroke. He fought bravely and recovered remarkably from the stroke but unfortunately his heart failed him and he died on 29 September 2022, leaving his loving parents, his younger sister, and his extensive family and friends in shock and disbelief.

Camil Saliba Foundation will be one of the Non-Profit Organization companies in the South California Region that will use all the possibilities of New Technology & Media to reach its Own Goal.
