Food Assistance

Field research has determined that the minimum essential needs for a family of four, including food and other necessities, would require around $200 per month (equivalent to $50 per person). Consequently, assistance in this category ranges from $10 to a maximum of $50 per person per month.

Food Assistance support can be provided in cash or in-kind.

Medications

Determining the actual need for medications can be challenging, as it depends on individual cases and cannot be generalized. Medications are categorized into two groups: regular over-the-counter medications and prescription medications for chronic or severe conditions.

Therefore, assistance in this category can be considered in two aspects:

  1. The first covers chronic illnesses exclusively, and the financial support in this case will range from $10 to a maximum of $30 per person per month.

  2. The second covers severe medical conditions that usually necessitate costly treatment. In this case, we will commence by reviewing the patient’s medical records and consulting the attending physician. Once the diagnosis is confirmed and the cost of treatment verified, a special fundraising event will be arranged, and the corresponding proceeds will be used to cover the cost of treatment either fully or partially.

Dream it.

Infant Milk Formula is available in various brands and types, including regular formula suitable for most infants and specialized formula for those with specific allergies, which must be prescribed by a doctor. Thus, assistance in this category ranges from $10 to a maximum of $30 per child per month, covering both formula and diapers.

Care Facilities

Care facilities in Lebanon cater to the elderly in general, particularly those who cannot care for themselves. Some care facilities are funded and managed by private institutions, charging monthly fees for their services, while others are operated by charitable organizations, occasionally offering services free of charge or at minimal fees.

The expenses of Care Facilities are generally covered as follows:

  1. Full costs are borne by patients in the homes managed by private institutions.

  2. Actual costs are covered in cash or in-kind through donations in the homes affiliated with religious or charitable associations.

Therefore, we will select specific Care Facilities distributed geographically in our homeland and provide them with assistance in cash or in-kind to help them cover their expenses.
